Dhwani Vyas

CEO & President, Board Member

Dhwani serves as FlatFrog's president and chief executive officer and member of the Board. He joined FlatFrog from Cypress Semiconductor where he was the Vice President and General Manager for the Touch business. At Cypress he started and grew the capacitive touch business to market leadership position. Prior to Cypress, Dhwani has held various management roles at Philips including corporate strategy/M&A, developing the first 4G RF mobile business and general manager of Interface Product business. Dhwani holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Lafayette College and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University. He also received a master's degree in business administration from INSEAD.

Ola Wassvik

Co-founder and CTO

Ola Wassvik has specialized for a decade in developing optics-based input systems for volume applications. Ola is responsible for the overall development of FlatFrog's proprietary technologies, and is one of the principal figures behind the company's key patents. He currently holds more than 15 patent families. Prior to co-founding FlatFrog, Ola served as Senior Optical Engineer in positions in Denmark and Sweden. While he served at publicly listed Anoto AB, Ola developed the company's proprietary optical solutions from inception, and was responsible for setting up volume production lines that to date have produced millions of units. He holds a Master of Science degree in in Engineering Physics from Lund University, Sweden. 

Magnus Hollström

VP Business Development

Magnus Hollström is responsible for product management and business development at FlatFrog. Magnus has 20 years experience of international high tech product and business development. He has extensive experience in developing and introducing advanced user interface and communication technology for mobile phones, cameras, interactive whiteboards and toys in high volumes . Magnus has held several management positions at Ericsson Mobile Communications and Anoto and as independent management consultant. He holds a Master of Science degree in in Electrical Engineering from Lund University, Sweden.

Anders Krook

VP Sales

Anders Krook is running Sales at FlatFrog. He has more than 15 years of successful experience in international Sales, doing both Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer, mainly in the IT and Telecom sector. Previous to joining FlatFrog, Anders held various Sales management positions at ST-Ericsson, Ericsson Mobile Platforms and Ericsson Mobile Communications Division. He has successfully completed Executive programs at London Business School, IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Spain and he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Linköping University, Sweden.

Nathan Moyal

VP Marketing

Nate Moyal is responsible for Asia business, operations and global Marketing. Nate has 26 years in Design, Marketing, Business-Development and International Business. He has extensive experience in developing and introducing new technologies such as Touchscreens, Haptics, IR sensors, and High-Speed Interface products. Recent start-up experience includes Cypress Touchscreen solution, Texas Instruments Haptics, and building and managing Touch, Sensors, Audio, Haptics teams for Texas Instruments in Shanghai, China. Nate has held several management positions at Cypress, Intel, and Texas Instruments. He holds a BSEE from LSU, Masters of Engineering from University of Texas, MBA from Concordia and he has been granted 36 US patents.

Andreas Olsson

VP Engineering

Andreas Olsson joined FlatFrog in 2010 and is heading the Engineering team. Andreas has worked professionally within engineering and R&D organizations for more than 15 years. After completing a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lund University, Sweden, he started his career working with signal processing algorithms at Anoto AB. Later, he moved on to Sony Ericsson Mobile where he worked as both engineer and later as manager for teams responsible for the camera, music and video experience. Before joining FlatFrog, Andreas worked in the management team leading the development of Sony Ericsson’s first Android phones developed from Lund. As a manager, Andreas combines his deep technical knowledge with the clear goal to make the whole team thrive and deliver great products on time.

Christer Fåhraeus

Chairman of the Board, Co-founder

For the last 18 years Christer has founded and developed companies in optics, image and signal processing, semi-conductors and biotech. He received his MS degree in Bioengineering from UCSD. He holds a Bachelor with double majors in math and physics from Lund University, Sweden. He was an MD/PhD student from 1989 until 1994 when he founded his first company, CellaVision AB. In 2002 he received an honorary PhD in Engineering from Lund University (the largest University in Scandinavia) as the youngest person to achieve this honor in its 350 year history. He is the inventor of more than 50 patent families. Christer has received numerous awards for scholastic and entrepreneurial achievements and was elected "IT Person of the Year" in Sweden 2002. Christer has served as President and CEO for startups and high-tech companies for more than 18 and he has more than 90 Board years of experience from listed and private companies, a third of these as Chairman.

Mario Kaloustian

Board Member

Mario is Managing Director at Invus based in the Paris office and focuses on investments in private companies. He joined Invus in 2008. Prior to joining Invus, Mario was Principal at Greenwich Consulting in Paris, a strategy and management consultancy focused on telecoms and media, where he led strategic consulting engagements for major European companies. Previously he was a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton and spent five years with the France Telecom group. He graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris and has an MBA from INSEAD.

Eric-Alan Rapp

Board Member

Eric-Alan Rapp is an independent member of the Board of Directors. Eric-Alan's experience includes more than 25 years in the areas of entrepreneurialism, venture capital and corporate finance from both Europe and the United States. He was a co-founder of Nordic-based venture capital investor Sunstone Capital, where he led the initial institutional investment round in FlatFrog. Eric-Alan currently serves as CEO and Chairman of Homemate ApS, a Copenhagen-based internet food company that he co-founded. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from EM Lyon, France.

Wassim Sacre

Board Member

Wassim is Managing Director at Invus based in the Paris office. He joined Invus in 2006. Prior to joining Invus, Wassim was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in Paris. Previously he was a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, where he worked with clients in a variety of industries including telecommunications, media, energy and utilities. Wassim holds an MBA from INSEAD. He is also a graduate of the University of Saint Joseph in Lebanon majoring in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering and of ESSEC Business School in Paris.

Jørgen Smidt

Board Member

Jørgen is a partner of Sunstone and brings more than 25 years of international operational and business management experience from the mobile telecoms industry and venture capital. His business development expertise includes the analysis and implementation of organizational, investment and international marketing, market positioning and communication strategies. Prior to Sunstone, Jørgen's career in Nokia spanned 13 years. At Nokia, he was responsible for a variety of senior management positions ranging from Vice President of the emerging Broadband Systems business unit to heading Nokia's Operation Solutions and Services in the Americas, Europe and Middle East where Jorgen was responsible for building Nokia fast growing services business. In addition, Jørgen held senior management positions globally with Nokia Enterprise Mobility Solutions, Nokia Business Development and Nokia Mobile Internet Applications. Before that, Jørgen served six years with Motorola in senior product management and operational functions in Denmark, Sweden, and the USA. Jørgen holds an engineering degree in computer science from the Engineering College of Copenhagen.
