Electronics enthusiast wanted for student position

We are looking for someone with a passion for electronics who loves to build and experiment on their own. Are you the type of person who often puts together personal projects at home and is used to working with electronic components? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

We are now looking for a motivated student to join our team and assist in evaluating electronic components and circuit boards. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge while gaining valuable experience in a flexible, real-world setting. You will work with our senior electronics engineer Martin, with hours that can be adapted to your study schedule (10-15 hours per week). The exact working hours are flexible but must be coordinated with Martin.

Key responsibilities:

  • Evaluate alternative components such as P-FET, op-amp, capacitors, inductors etc. by:
    • Measuring properties like U-I curve, maximum output current, and more.
    • Replacing components on existing circuit boards and testing the boards under cold and heat conditions.
    • Logging debug outputs during tests.
  • Analyze and document findings by writing reports that describe the tests conducted and compare the original components with the replacements.

About you:

  • You are enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or related program.
  • You are proactive and independent, with a passion for solving problems and developing new solutions.
  • You have a good understanding of how various electronic components work and what they are used for.
  • You feel comfortable expressing yourself in English, both verbally and in writing.
