Mountain View, CA – FlatFrog, a leading provider of interactive display solutions, is pleased to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued a notice of allowance on a new FlatFrog patent application in the US. This application, US 17/671,648, will join the existing litigated patents in FlatFrog’s key portfolio covering the low contact detection height (CDH) technology for IR type touchscreens. This development underscores FlatFrog's commitment to innovation and its dedication to delivering top-tier interactive display solutions to its customers.

FlatFrog’s new patent will further strength protection of its InGlass™ technology, focusing on the manufacture of the FlatFrog large screen touch devices. This technology creates a writing experience as natural as pen on paper and supports intuitive motions such as erasing with your finger or hand. Because of its advantages over conventional touch screen technologies, InGlass™ has been adopted by the world’s leading touch screen display companies, including Dell, Samsung, Sharp, NEC, Smart, Avocor and others.‍

FlatFrog has invested heavily in the development of InGlass™ and is will protect its intellectual property rights in the face of any infringements. The company's investments into InGlass™ and related touchscreen technologies are safeguarded by more than 65 granted patents worldwide and more than 70 pending applications.
